WHO WE ARE

York Area Down Syndrome Association (YADSA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, with a primary focus on those with Down syndrome, and their families.

We provide information and support to parents and the community through meetings, guest speakers, and educational workshops.

OUR VISION

Our mission is to promote acceptance and inclusion, empowering individuals with Down syndrome to live healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives.

YADSA has several activities throughout the year.  These activities are listed under our activities section on the website.  They provide wonderful opportunities for growth, development and friendships.

Dan Piper Award Nominations are Open!

The Dan Piper Award is given by NDSS to an adult with Down syndrome who brings about greater public awareness and understanding of individuals with Down syndrome through everyday activities.  Does that sound like someone you know? Nominate them by July 21st at ndss.org/dan-piper-award!
